It is lightweight, highly flexible, and designed to route heated or cooled air around tight engine compartment and firewall areas. Because it is available cut to length, shorter sections can be joined together to form continuous ducting runs, making it a practical choice for cabin heat, defroster, and engine cooling ducting on a wide range of general aviation aircraft.
